HINA ATHAR KHAN 2024-25 Scholar

Hina is a Pakistani-Canadian strategy and policy professional with a diverse experience working on initiatives in the public, private, and development sector.

Hina has worked closely with the Government of Pakistan in various capacities and runs a philanthropic trust founded on the principles of Saint Ali Bin Usman Hajveri to provide humanitarian relief to marginalized people. Guided by traditions of Sufism, the organization attempts to serve a small community of people with purity of intention, love, and affection.

With the Sajida Khatoon Kazmi Scholarship at Hartford International University, Hina hopes to learn skills-focused application of interfaith learning towards conflict resolution, eventually building a practice of policymaking peacebuilders that will imagine and implement practical solutions for lasting peace.

Hina holds a BSc. (Hons.) degree in Quantitative Economics and Mathematics from the University of Toronto.
