About Auliya Council of North America

A spiritual and cultural organization advancing unity through knowledge, devotion, love and justice.

WHO WE ARE

Oneness, Love and Justice

Auliya Council of North America is a spiritual and cultural organization that seeks communal unity without sectarian or religious divisions, supported by knowledge and practice. With Oneness, Love and Justice as instruments of togetherness, inclusiveness and change, we seek to enrich the lives of North Americans and Muslim communities everywhere.

Inspired by the rich spiritual, cultural and scholarly traditions of the Sufis and Mashaikh of the Indian Subcontinent, the Council promotes devotion to God, spiritual practice and scholarship rooted in the Qur’an and the traditions of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.

By embracing all faith traditions, ACNA has developed an institution that serves people across the world and raises a voice for support, understanding and positive change.

OUR MISSION

A sacred space for seekers

Our mission is to create a sacred space where seekers can explore the teachings of Islamic Sufism—grounded in Oneness, Love, Justice and Knowledge—for individual and communal growth, harmony and fairness.

Sufism offers freedom of worship and practice, freedom from oppression, and a journey to God accessible to all through unity and equality. ACNA celebrates and shares this heritage with everyone.

OUR VISION

Spirituality in contemporary life

Our vision is a Sufi Islamic center that brings people together through spirituality, prayer, sama, inclusive culture and the pursuit of knowledge.

ACNA advances the spiritual, cultural and social legacy of the Auliya of the Indian Subcontinent by fostering a lived connection with God and upholding the Islamic principles of the oneness of humanity, love for all, equality and justice.
