CHISHTIYA

A traditional Chishti spiritual home devoted to remembrance, hospitality, Urs, Sama and service to the community.

Established in the name of Baba Fariduddin Ganje Shakar, Khanqah Chishtiya Faridiya carries forward the Chishti understanding that love of the Divine is expressed through remembrance, generosity and care for every guest.

Spiritual Life

Dhikr and quiet reflection remain at the heart of the Khanqah. These practices invite seekers to cultivate sincerity, humility and an attentive heart while remaining responsibly engaged with family and community life.

Urs, Sama and Qawwali gatherings bring people together in remembrance and spiritual fellowship. They preserve a living cultural tradition while creating a welcoming space for reflection, learning and shared devotion.

Hospitality and Community

Hospitality is an essential part of Khanqah life. Visitors are welcomed with dignity and respect, and service is understood as a practical expression of love. The Khanqah seeks to strengthen relationships across generations through gatherings, conversation and care.

Part of ACNA

As part of Auliya Council of North America in Mahopac, Khanqah Chishtiya Faridiya connects this spiritual heritage with contemporary community life. It welcomes seekers to participate in remembrance, fellowship and service in the enduring path of the Auliya.
