Itr-e-Nami Dar Sharh-e-Husami
By Professor Mufti Muhammad Arif Muhammad Khan Qadri
Itr-e-Nami Dar Sharh-e-Husami is an Urdu commentary on Husami, a textbook on the principles of Islamic jurisprudence. This volume explains analogical reasoning (qiyas), its conditions, essential elements, and legal implications, along with juristic preference (istihsan), effective legal causes, objections to analogical arguments, and principles for weighing competing evidence. It also discusses legal rulings, the categories of Allah’s rights, causes and conditions, legal capacity, and circumstances affecting that capacity. The concluding sections examine the meanings and legal significance of Arabic particles, prepositions, and conditional expressions. Combining Arabic passages with Urdu explanations, the book serves as a study aid for students of Husami and Islamic legal theory.
